February 15th, 2020

During Career and Technical Education Month in February, the New Jersey Council on County Vocational Technical Schools is highlighting successful graduates of the county’s 21 vocational technical schools.

Zachary Scrape is a 2015 graduate of the carpentry program at Somerset County Vocational-Technical Schools. He currently works as a facilities carpenter journeyman apprentice at Princeton University.

“The Somerset County Vocational School not only prepared me for a successful career by providing outstanding and detailed knowledge of many aspects of the trade, but also was there to provide a guiding hand for every step of the way to be placed in a related job from the application process, interviewing, and securing employment, all before graduating.”
