Camden County Tech Graduate Ruby Delarosa — From Tech School to Law School

During Career and Technical Education Month in February, the New Jersey Council on County Vocational Technical Schools is highlighting successful graduates of the county’s 21 vocational technical schools.

Ruby Delarosa of Pennsauken is a 2008 graduate of Camden County Technical School, where she was enrolled in the legal office assistant program. Delarosa received her bachelor’s degree in political science from Stockton University in 2011 and her law degree from Widener University School of Law in 2017. She is employed as an attorney at Capehart Scatchard in Mount Laurel, NJ.

“During high school, I learned the basics of what a legal profession entails, how to fill out my first tax form, and received help with applying for scholarships. I am forever grateful for the head start I received in high school.”
