Data management company CommVault has announced the recipients of its third annual CommVault High Tech High School (HTHS) Scholarship Award program. Six students from High Technology High School in Lincroft (part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District) were chosen to receive $2,500 in scholarship funding each year for four years and an opportunity to further their experience with a fully paid internship at CommVault’s Oceanport offices.
Since its inception in 2012, the CommVault HTHC Scholarship Award program has bestowed 14 scholarships, totaling more than $47,000, 10 internships, and three mentee positions. The program represents a yearly culmination of collaboration between CommVault and High Tech High School, a four-year pre-engineering career academy. As part of the CommVault internship and mentoring program, students gain a hands-on experience in coding and software development.
CommVault was honored as the Monmouth County Vocational School District Business Partner of the Year in 2013.
