During Career and Technical Education Month in February, the New Jersey Council on County Vocational Technical Schools is highlighting successful graduates of the county’s 21 vocational technical schools.

Caroline Robbins

Caroline Robbins graduated the sports medicine program at Cumberland County Technical Education Center in 2017. After graduation, she continued her education at Coastal Carolina University in pursuit of her degree in exercise science.

During the summer of 2018, she returned to CCTEC to enroll in the Certified Nursing Assistant program. After completing the program, she was hired as a CNA at the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland, NJ.

Caroline was recently accepted into Charleston Southern for their accelerated bachelor of science nursing program. Her work as a CNA has provided her a wage of $18.00 an hour and plenty of hours to help offset the cost of continuing her education.
