From NJ.com: MCVTS expands carpentry program

Through an expanded partnership with the Northeast Regional Council of Carpenters Apprentice Training and Education Fund, the Middlesex County Vocational and Technical School District, which currently offers carpentry education to students at its East Brunswick and Piscataway, will now offer the same opportunity to students at its Perth Amboy campus.

The students are bused once a week to the Carpenters Union training center in Kenilworth for a full day of instruction in framing, building concrete forms, installing dropped ceilings, flooring and steel studs, millwright and cabinet-making, workplace safety regulations and tool use. They also shadow apprentices in training.
