From the Courier Post: SJ teacher wins Food Network’s ‘Chopped’

Camden chef Tim WichterCamden County Technical School teacher Timothy Witcher of Pine Hill used his creative culinary skills to win last night’s airing of the Food Network competition show “Chopped.”

“The win gives me an incredible feeling,” Witcher told the Courier-Post. “The entire ‘Chopped’ process has strengthened my faith in God, who truly allowed me to compete without fear after a devastating loss my first try.”

Witcher, a Clementon resident, was runner-up on the the hit show “Chopped” in June and won the Food Network’s show “Rewrapped” in September 2014.

Witcher joined the staff of Camden County Technical School in September as a culinary arts instructor at the district’s Gloucester Township campus. He previously served as a culinary arts instructor at the Burlington County Institute of Technology, where he was selected 2012 Teacher of the Year.
