GCIT team takes third place in Philadelphia auto technology competition

Gloucester County Institute of Technology seniors William Pitt and Aaron Bowers placed third place at the 23rd Annual Greater Philadelphia Automotive Technology Competition and earned more than $90,000 in scholarships and prizes.

The students competed against 22 other teams from area technical high schools during the event, which was produced by the Auto Dealers CARing for Kids Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Philadelphia Auto Show.
