Governor Chris Christie and Lt. Governor Kim Guadagno signed a proclamation today designating February, 2017, as Career and Technical Education Month in New Jersey, and urging all residents of the state to learn more about the opportunities offered by the county vocational-technical school districts in their counties.

The proclamation cites the many benefits of career and technical education, including:

CTE “builds collaborative connections among education, economic development and workforce development to support healthy economic growth…

The comprehensive innovative approach of (CTE) prepares students as global citizens for a lifetime of career and education choices….
