During Career and Technical Education Month in February, the New Jersey Council on County Vocational Technical Schools is highlighting successful graduates of the county’s 21 vocational technical schools.
Alexander C. Leventhal graduated from the computer science program at Bergen County Technical Schools. He graduated from New Jersey Institute of Technology in 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering.
He is currently working as a business development manager at IBM, where he started in 2015 as a software engineer.
“The Bergen County Technical High School curriculum focuses on theory coupled with hands-on experience, and this allowed me to be successful in the fields of business and technology,” Leventhal said. “Bergen Tech ensures their graduates are ready and equipped for the real world. Bergen Tech was the springboard to my success.”
