Congratulations to the Mercer County Health Science Academy students who won ten awards at the NJ State HOSA competition. HOSA is an international student organization for future health care professionals.
The two Mercer students who won first place in their categories – Rachel Warner, of Roosevelt, in Knowledge Test: Behavioral Health, and Smriti Moorjani, of Plainsboro, in Medical Math – will represent New Jersey in the national competition at the HOSA International Leadership Conference in Florida in June.
And more great news for the Mercer Health Science Academy:
Sri Lahari Kunchapu, of Plainsboro, was elected state president of NJ HOSA for the 2017-2018 school year, and Alexandrea Zaburski, of Hamilton, was elected state vice-president. Rohan Sharma, of East Windsor, was elected southern regional vice-president.
