PCTI instructors Julissa Borbon and Richard Glueck received their awards at the W!se 15th annual MoneyPOWER Financial Literacy Conference

Two Academy of Finance instructors at Passaic County Technical Institute (PCTI) have been honored with the W!se (Working in Support of Education) Gold Star Teacher Awards.

Julissa Borbon, of Woodland Park, and Richard Glueck, of Metuchen, received the national distinction because their classes achieved a 93% pass rate on the Financial Literacy Certification test in the fall semester in 2016 or the spring semester in 2017.

Both instructors were recognized at the MoneyPOWER Financial Literacy Conference late last year in New York City.

W!se is an award-winning national educational non-profit organization dedicated to improving lives through programs that develop financial literacy and readiness for college and careers.
