Warren County Technical School honored Miguel Rosario, owner of Pburg Auto Repair in Phillipsburg as its 2020 Business Partner of the Year.

The award is given annually to a county vocational technical school business partner for outstanding contributions to career and technical education. Business partners play a variety of roles, including serving on county vocational technical school program advisory boards, offering opportunities for students to gain valuable work experience, donating equipment, or serving as mentors and role models for students.

Miguel Rosario graduated from Warren County Technical School in 2009 and continued his automotive training at Warren County Community College’s automotive program.

“Miguel has been a great supporter of our school’s automotive program for years,” said Superintendent Edmund Zalewski. “He has hired our graduates and currently employs a graduate and one of our students through the school’s cooperative education program.”

Rosario was a cooperative education student in his senior year.

Miguel is an active member of the district’s advisory board and has contributed to district’s automotive program by not only hiring students but speaking to students about career opportunities in the automotive industry,” Zalewski said.
