US News & World Report: Monmouth’s High Technology High School is the #1 STEM School in the Country

US News & World Report has named High Technology High School in Lincroft, part of the Monmouth County Vocational School District, as the #1 science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) high school in the United States.

Four other New Jersey county vocational-technical schools were ranked among the country’s top 30 STEM high schools:

  • The Academy of Allied Health and Science, Neptune (Monmouth County Vocational School District), #4
  • Bergen Academies, Hacckensack (Bergen County Technical Schools), #11
  • Middlesex County Academy for Science, Math and Engineering, Edison (Middlesex County Vocational & Technical Schools), #13
  • Union County Magnet High School, Scotch Plains (Union County Vocational-Technical Schools), #28

A total of 12 New Jersey public high schools were among the top 100 schools cited for excellence in STEM education by US News.
